During your studies in criminological psychology you will have carried out a practical investigation - AQA - A-Level Psychology - Question 7 - 2020 - Paper 2

First of all, we picked two videos for the participants to watch, one of a crime with a gun and one of a crime without a weapon. We picked our participants through opportunity sampling and asked them to come into a classroom individually to watch the videos. After they had watched the video of the crime they were given a distractor task for 5 minutes so they could not rehearse what they had seen. We then gave them questions about the crime, including a question that asked them to describe what the perpetrator had been and what they looked like.
