Answer
A housefly can become a vector for dysentery by carrying the protozoan that causes the disease. When a housefly lands on contaminated food or surfaces, it can transfer the pathogens to a person. This happens through the fly's mouthparts when it feeds or through its body when it comes into contact with food, ultimately resulting in infection.
