Dear Michael Morpurgo,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to recount a time when I wrote a piece of writing that I felt was particularly successful. It was during my school’s annual poetry competition last year. I wrote a poem called 'Whispers of the Wind,' and to my delight, it won first place.

The success of this poem, I believe, stemmed from several key factors. Firstly, I drew inspiration from my surroundings—nature, in particular.
