Scene Setting: The scene takes place in a messy living room, cluttered with shoes and gadgets. The lights are dim, casting shadows on the walls. We hear a beep from a phone on the table.

[Teenager enters, looking frustrated]
Teenager: "Why can't you just lighten up? It’s not that serious!"

[Adult, seated with a stern expression, looks up from a book]
Adult: "You’re a complete mystery to me! You’re always wearing those ridiculous shoes and taking selfies!"

[Teenager rolls their eyes, gestures dismissively]
Teenager: "You don’t get it. Everyone does this now!"

[Adult stands up, starting to pace]
Adult: "It’s embarrassing! Texting at 3 AM and posting on Facebook? Just focus on your studies instead."

[Teenager throws hands up in frustration]
Teenager: "Yeah, right! Like I could ever get you to understand!"

[Adult narrows their eyes]
Adult: "It’s only going to lead to trouble. You need to take this seriously!"

[Teenager takes a step back, crossing arms defiantly]
Teenager: "You just don’t see it from my perspective. I can’t even breathe with you watching my every move!"

[Adult sighs, shaking head]
Adult: "I just want what’s best for you. This isn’t the way to go about it."

[Scene ends with a long silence, both characters looking away]
