I’m called Samuel, I’m fourteen years old, and my dream is to become a professional footballer.

This is my first year in the training center of the LOSC Lille Olympique Sporting Club. I have been in different teams but this is the best known. In my team, the trainers are fantastic and really know what they are doing. I talked to them a lot, and I found one. In addition, we discussed a lot about my age, I was too young to leave home.

I finally started at LOSC in September. I arrived at the center, where there are football fields, a large canteen, and two dormitories. For me and the other players, the center is everything. It is the rules and stories. I have to be there at 6:30 in the morning for training at 8. Then, I have entertainment at 10:30. But it’s not always nice when it rains to train.

Is that silver? The club pays me a thousand euros a month. Well, yes, it is a big deal because I can buy good shoes for training and I go to buy good boots and shoes afterwards.

Since I’ve been at LOSC, I’ve changed a lot. I am more mature. At present, I’m just happy because I’m a little worried about not being able to do professional training. But I am very optimistic. And it was the LOSC that gave me the chance! I never got injured, and I never got hurt.
