Magnetic Separation: This method utilizes the magnetic properties of ore minerals to separate them from the gangue. When subjected to a magnetic field, magnetic minerals will be attracted to the magnet, allowing for their separation from non-magnetic materials.

Flotation: In this process, ore is mixed with water and special chemicals to create a slurry. Air bubbles are introduced, and the desired minerals attach to the bubbles and rise to the surface, forming a froth which can be skimmed off, separating them from the unwanted materials.
