Three boys have developed an app - Leaving Cert German - Question 1 - 2022

The main problem they want to address is bullying, particularly focusing on cyberbullying, which is prevalent not just in schools, but also online and through various social media channels. The app aims to provide support for students who are victims of bullying by offering a platform where they can seek help anonymously.

The idea for the app came when they were participating in a school project about bullying. At that time, they were also preparing for their exams, which added stress to their lives.

Jan worked on programming the app together with his friend Kai. They spent several months developing it, working mostly after school and during weekends. Although the process was stressful due to their exams, they also found it enjoyable.

They further developed their idea by collaborating with teachers and peers, which provided them with valuable feedback and support. They also established a website for their app and built a community of 300 volunteers to assist users in need.
