Pitch: This refers to how high or low a musical note sounds. It is determined by the frequency of the sound wave; a higher frequency results in a higher pitch.

Timbre (or Quality): Timbre describes the tonal color or quality of a sound. It allows us to differentiate between different instruments or voices even when they play the same pitch.
