Human-Made Fibres

Human-made fibres are created in factories using chemicals or natural materials.

They are divided into two types:

1. Synthetic Fibres (fully man-made)
2. Regenerated Fibres (partly natural, partly chemical).

Synthetic Fibres

Care of Human-Made Fibres

Synthetic fibres:

• Wash at low temperatures.

• Avoid high heat when ironing – it can melt the fabric. Regenerated fibres:

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle.
