Pictiúr 1

• I bpictiúr a haon, feicimid príomhoide Ardscoil an Chnoic agus í ar a slí go dtí an tionól seachtainiúil. In picture one, we see the principal of Ardscoil an Chnoic on her way to the weekly assembly.

• Bhí fonn ar an an bpríomhoide labhairt faoi rialacha na scoile. The principal wanted to talk about the school rules.

• Chuir sí béim faoi leith ar mheas a bheith acu ar chuile dhuine agus gan bulaíocht a dhéanamh. She put a lot of emphasis on respecting everyone and not bullying.

• Gan amhras, dúirt sí go raibh cosc ar ghuma, tobac, alcól agus drugaí ar scoil. Obviously, she said there was a ban on gum, tobacco, alcohol and drugs in the school.

Pictiúr 2

• I bpictiúir a dó, is léir gur thug cupla daltaí an chluas bhodhar don phríomhoide! In picture two, it's clear that a couple of students turned a deaf ear to the principal. (They did not listen to the principal.)

• Feicimid na buachaillí ag troid i rith an cluiche peile. We see the boys fighting during the football match.

• Ansin feicimid cailiní ag briseadh na rialacha freisin, taobh thiar den bhothán rothar agus iad ag caitheamh tabac. We then see girls breaking the rules too, smoking behind the bike shed.

• Tháinig múinteoirí aniar aduaidh orthu agus rug siad orthu. Teachers came across them and caught them.

Pictiúr 3

• I bpictúir a trí, thug na muinteoirí íde béil dosna daltaí. In picture three, the teachers gave out to the students.

• Chuir an muinteoir i gcuimhne do na buachaillí a bhí ag troid gurb iad rialacha na scoile meas a bheith ar a chéile agus suíomh sona a chruthú.
  The teacher reminded the boys who were fighting that the school rules were to respect each other and create a happy environment.

• I gcás na cailiní, bhí muinteoir eile ag tabhairt amach dóibh. In the girl's case, another teacher was giving out to them

• Dúirt sí leo go raibh an tobac ag déanamh dochar dá sláinte agus dá bpócaí! She told them that tobacco was damaging their health and their pockets!

Pictiúr 4

• Níorbh shin é deireadh an scéil, áfach. However, that was not the end of the story.

• I bpictiúr a ceathair, ghlaoigh an Príomhoide ar na tuismitheoirí ar fad agus mhínigh sí an scéal dóibh. In picture four, the principal called all of the parents and explained the situation to them.

• Eagraíodh cruinniú idir na tuismitheoirí, na scoláirí agus an Príomhoide. A meeting was organised between the parents, the students and the principal.

• Tugadh íde na muc is na madraí do na scoláirí. The students were given out to.

• Bhí na daltaí ag crith le heagla mar bhí a fios acu go raibh siad i bponc ceart anois. The students were shaking with fear because they knew they were in real trouble now.

Pictiúr 5

• I bpictiúr a cúig, bhí na tuismitheoirí búilte fúthu in oifig an phríomhoide. In picture five, the parents were sitting in the principal's office.

• Bhí crith cos agus lámh ar na scoláirí roimh an gcruinniú. The students were trembling before the meeting.

• Mhínigh an phríomhoide dóibh gur bhris na daltaí na rialacha. The principal explained to them that the students broke the rules.

• Bheadh ar na páistí fanacht siar tar éis scoile. The students would have to stay behind after school.

Pictiúr 6

• Ní raibh na daltaí sásta ar chor ar bith. The students weren't happy at all.

• Ní dhéanfaidís dearmad ar an lá sin go deo! They would never forget that day!
