Select Column B.
Use 'Conditional Formatting' > 'Highlight Cells Rules' > 'Duplicate Values'.
This will show duplicates. The name that is not highlighted is the unique name.
The unique name to enter in cell G3 is 'Taylor'.

6.4 Sort the contents of the worksheet first by Scientific Name in the descending order and then by Spotted By in the ascending order.

Select any cell in the data range.
Go to the 'Data' tab, click on 'Sort'.
In the Sort dialog, choose 'Scientific Name' from the 'Sort by' dropdown and select 'Largest to Smallest'.
Click 'Add Level', then choose 'Spotted By' and select 'A to Z'.
Click 'OK' to apply the sorting.
The name of the turtle in the first row after sorting can be found in cell G9, which should be 'Black Marsh Turtle'.

6.5 Protect the cells A1:D1 with the password 2017.

Select cells A1:D1.
