LUCY: (finally looking up, deadpan) Wow. That is a poultry level of humor.
JOE: (pausing, dramatically) It’s egg-cellent, if you ask me!
LUCY: (rolling her eyes) You really are grasping at straws here. What’s next? A joke about roosters?
JOE: (in a mock-serious tone) Well, I was going to tell a crow joke, but it might be beyond your understanding!
LUCY: (smirking) Beyond my understanding? You’re just flying too high, my friend. You’re not that funny!
