Step 4: Draft and Edit Your Summary

  • Write a draft summary using your own words.
  • Edit your work to correct any errors.
  • Count the words to check if you need to add or reduce content.

Step 5: Write Your Final Summary

  • Write the final version of your seven key points.
  • Cross out your draft to avoid confusion.
  • Write an accurate word count in brackets at the end of your summary. By following these steps, you can write an effective and concise summary in the exam.
